Default Bigger rims? 20"

I just got a 93 and would love to put some 5 spoke gloss black wheels on it. I had planned to put the 20's from my 2010 Camaro on it but the vette hub was too big. Anyway, I like the Grand Sport wheels but would love to find some 20's just like them. 19's would do I guess. Ideas? I have checked Ecklers and some other sites with no luck.

Personally, the biggest I'd go were 18". Any bigger than that and it just ruins the looks of the C4 for me IMO. Of course, it's your car and your money.

And since you're looking at gloss black 5-spokes, you can get some gloss black A-molds... They look pretty good.

You can get a nice 5 spoke for a decent price in 18/19 combo from OE Wheels LLC, C6 style. If you get 20s, you can't just slap on any 20" wheel or you'll run the risk of destroying your fenders. You'll need to make sure they have the correct backspacing & clearance so that they stay inside the fenders. I've seen 20" on C4s, but they usually have too small of a tire (sidewall and width) for my liking. The 18/19 combo looks real good IMO.

These car's look terrible with 20's. I have seen a blue ZR1 with an 18 front 19 rear Fikse wheel that looks good but any bigger looks wrong IMO.

Of course, if you LIKE the "Pimp My Ride" look......Go for it. I wonder how often you'll get onto the rims thru corners?

I don't think he plans on that, otherwise 18's on all four would be what I would suggest for track use.

Looks really good on 18". We do offer 19" as well.

Got 20's on mine...[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
Havent heard any negative comments on mine...although I'm sure someone will bash them just to prove a point, lol. But, we all have our preferences which allows us all to have something that shows our originality. Most people dont realize the size though. Maybe when most people think "20's" they think "bling bling" or "hoopties". Maybe the scheme/set up on mine hides the size well? But, with that said, I will say, I honestly wish I had 18" fronts/19" rears b/c it offers and opens up a ton of different wheel/tire combinations that arent offered in 20's. But, too much $ for new wheels/tires just to have more of a selection when what I have works just fine. And as far as clearancing issues with my 20's, no rubbing or scraping either.

Those look great- 5 spoke gloss black, just what I want. I will probably get some 18/19's this weekend. There seems to be a lot of C6 owners who have changed their wheels, and for $400-$600 including tires its hard to beat. The guy I am going to see Saturday got the same wheels, just went from silver to chrome. Btw I think you should crop all your photos to just show the car (s). I mean, are you showing off the forest? If you crop it to just show the car it would take up my whole computer screen and I could get a closer up image of those wheels especially.

Thanks! Yea, I think you've got the right idea...so many choices for 18's-19's but very limited when it comes to 20's unless your trying to "Pimp My Ride". Honestly, if I could have any setup,Id love to have the new GS wheels done up in a semi-gloss black. But guess what? Yep, they only go up to a 19".

IMO black wheels aren't pimped, no matter the size. Now, 20" gold wheels with chrome all around is pimped. What did you pay for your wheels and tires on the C4?

Those particular AR rims ran about $275/ea. if I remember correctly and the Nitto ZR's were around $225-$250/ea(I think). $2000ish total...

Rotors 0n back look like saucers with those big hoops. Doesn't look bad but too big for my taste.
