adding a spare tire to a spare delete car??
Looking at a spare tire delete car (online) and I don't like the idea of not having a spare.
What parts are needed to add a spare to a spare tire delete car??
Do spare tire delete cars even come with a jack??

spare tire delete cars were cars that originally had run flat tires. so no jack. you would need to remove the cross brace in the back then instal the spare tire tub and tire. the jack goes into the storage compartment beside the radio box. the lug wrench is behind the driver side seat. I am sure you will have no problem finding what you need. as the spare tire delete brace is sought after

has a fastening lug-nut sized bolt at the other end. Available from any vette salvage yard. Check to see if the hardware is still there to attach the tire carrier.
Don't know why a spare-tire delete vette would carry a jack and wrench. Probably carried an air compressor and patch kit.
C4 jacks and wrenches are available from the same salvage yards, and ebay.

Some confusion here........ C4s did not come with run-flats. The spare tire rested on a tire carrier that was hinged at the rear, and secured at the front end with a 3/4 bolt. The jack was stored in the hub of the spare, and the wrench had secure hardware behind the driver's seat.
Check out the C4 option codes for the later C4s
hint 1995 corvettes could have these options
N84 Spare Tire Delete
UJ6 Low Tire Pressure Warning Indicator
WY5 Tires, Extended Mobility
