I've seen carbon fiber, and matte black wraps. The carbon fiber wrap I saw on a lexus looked BAD ***!
I've also seen full, graphics done in plasti-dip. I bought gun metal plasti-dip to do the GS stripes on The Ghost. I hope to get it done before 2015.

Materials alone for the wrap aren't that pricey probably less than $600.00; installer skill is key to doing it right the first time. Most quality materials carry a lengthy manufacturers warranty if you use a certified installer.
That Plasti-dip product is very interesting, I have not seen a Vette done completely yet, but there are videos of several other vehicles on-line.

Here's a Black C6 vert that was wrapped in white. Link is to his post w/B4 - after pix.
He claims $1,200 for the whole thing. Seems like a bargin!

Ed, when I was fishing B.A.S.S. Tournaments my sponsors would use the wrap on my bass boat and change it every few months to rotate advertizing..I watched them change the wrap a few times and it didn't seem to do anything to the fiberglass surface of the boat and It spent many hours in the hot sun baking......WW
