I have a 1986 coupe with the HVAC electronic controller. I have read many posts regarding the A/C blows out the defroster. All my settings work except one. My defroster blows out the dash vents toward your face. My heat can be switched from one vent to another. Also the A/C works fine on the dash vents and doesn't blow out the defroster. Just the defroster doesn't blow out on the windshield.

While trying the defroster setting, now the defroster will blow strong for a few seconds then divert back to dash vents. If I remove the center bezel can I see the vac lines or does the dash pad have to come out?

if you remove the radio you can see the lines coming out of the controller.

The C68 vacuum lines connect to the HVAC programmer, which is located above the accelerator pedal.
