Loaded up the Grand Sport and she is on her way to the new owner in Ohio.

Not sure that this is the way that I would have it delivered, but it is not mine to say. This is the first time in almost 20 years that there is not a vette in the garage.

This particular disease seems to be contagious. It was weird walking out in my garage this weekend and the Vette wasn't there......

Primarily due to lack of interest. I just never drove them. I traded my '66 last year for a '69 Camaro that I will be working on so all is not lost.

If you weren't driving it then probably the right move. That must have been a sad day because that is a beautiful looking GS. I bet the new owner is giddy waiting for it to show up at it's new home.

Man, that is a beautiful GS, the new owner is one lucky person. I don't know how you guys do it, I don't know what I'd do without a vette in the garage, but I do understand things change and sometimes it's just time to move on.

The wheels on the car are like diamonds on a beautiful woman. You start with something beautiful and add some bling and WOW you have something thats just drop dead gorgeous.

Always loved that car. All I would have needed is more garage space and a few extra grand and she'd be on the way here. I'm sure the new owner's going to be so pumped when it shows up at his door

astepup said that

Hate to see you old timers give it up. Good luck on your 69 project.

No plans as of right now, if I was looking though, it would be a C6 GS.

I have always said that a nice set of wheels can transform any car into something that looks great.

Had been considering selling it for a few years now, finally just pulled the trigger. Only took four months to sell.

Would hardly consider myself an old timer. Just was kind of over the car and it was time for someone else to enjoy it.

I think he will be more than thrilled when he sees the car in person. He has only seen pics and pics do not do this car justice. I just hope it makes to Ohio and stay relatively clean.

GS163,

That is a fine GS! I will say that was one of my favorite C4's on this forum if not my favorite! Someone is getting themselves a fine car; are they getting the original black GS wheels with the purchase?

Good luck on the 69 Camaro too; wish I had one of those too! If I am going Vetteless, that would fill the void! Take care, and hope you hang out on here although it sounds like your interest has moved on to other things, understood.

Thanks for the kind words, and I too agree that they are getting a very nice car. They are also getting the factory black wheels too. I'll still be around as this forum is such a part of my daily routine, maybe not to post so much, but just to cruise through and see what is going on.
