What is this C4 Worth?
Its a 1991 with 19,000 miles on it! I bought it off of a elderly neighbor today for $10,000. It was in his warehouse setting underneath a cover. I took it home and washed it quick to see the paint and everything looks legit to me! Is $10,000 a fair price to him and me? The car has no damage and paint is still very shiny. The car is black. Not sure how to post pics yet!

Wow a 91 with 19,000 miles, thats hard to believe but I know it can happen. I don't think you over paid because finding one like that is nearly impossible. The thing I would be worried about is the lack of miles and seals drying out and other issues that come up from not driving it. Not driving can be harder on a car than really putting miles on them. I hope everything works out because that must be a beautiful vette.
It looks new in that shot so congrats

if it was long term parked...get the engine oil changed... the L98 probably had dinosaur oil in it..so USE the same..do not go to a synthetic, I would also change the trans fluid if its an auto..and consider the radiator...remember you have hoses that will probably be brittle..so careful on your launches etc..until you have circulated some fluids for a bit...you may want to consider the upper and lower radiator hoses and make sure the thermostat is opening an closing and the electric fan is coming on and off at the right temps. and top off the brake fluid..does it have a nice solid pedal, with those low miles..and its age..the rubber is suspect so make sure you have a good idea of what hoses are dry and where you can get replacements. The worst is to have a 10 dollar hose fail you, or a serpentine belt, when you are enjoying the heck out of your new Vette..caution goes a long way. you will work your way thru all its systems eventually if you do as we all did and fall in love with a car..lol...
ah, one last, as some posters have already said, tires tires tires, important, and could be dangerous if old and dry..make sure you have good (new) rubber under you.
its beautiful, Good luck with her,
Best, Derek.

I haven't seen a '91 in that condition in a long time! She looks great! Post up some pics of the engine bay and interior if you can. Enjoy!

Very nice!
Just remember she's still twenty years old.
So post your problems here before you go to the stealership or local repair shop.

Hi, I do like the pic of your car, nice colour too!my Artic 90 coupe is great! Except the roof seems to rattle over bumps and the car shakes abit.
I just assumed 23 years old thats the way it is, i guess there is no way to tighten it up, the clutch is great, had all the rear bearings changed , just blend door /heat issue. The guy said it's your a/c unit digital not responding so the blend door is jammed to a/c.
Its a summer car anyway, no winters for this.I really like driving it, it had only 72k on it when i bought it in April.Should I look to sell in the spring, then go on the hunt for a 96? Or keep this and someone tighten it up and keep gradually restoring it,I'd like a glass top etc. it's in top shape now though!MZee
