Default 87 poor ride

I have an 87 coupe. The rear end feels like its sliding whenever i hit a bump, going around even the slightest corner. Wheels bearings feel tight. Any other ideas?

Could be alignment, worn out bushings, or as simple as worn tires

Some history?
Is this a recent problem?
Stock rims and tires?

Yeah, new problem this year, has gotten progressively worse. Rims are stock, tires are new.

I had the same thing the rear bushings were bad.
But they kind of clank when you turn. You can clearly see them with tire removed.
15 dollars for new and
Drill out the old
You need to remove the old sleeve, sounds bad but crush it with vise grips and it
removes easily. Lube up new and stick s/squish em in.

Which bushings are they? Sway bar or control arm

Just do all the rear bushings not that hard of a project then get a alignment you should be good to go. They are 26 yrs old how long do you expect them to last

forgot to mention my shocks caused that problem also. the bushings you can look at when the tire is removed as the swaybar is right there. My old shocks were bad when they would go down one would stick down position probably causing the sway from the rear.
