Thanks! I sat in the garage staring at them tonight thinking "damn that looks sexy!" I did that right after opening the back of my wife's Tahoe and having one of the stock wheels that we hauled home from the tire shop fall out and land on my big toe. Still throbbing....

I'm glad you got the Silver ZR-1's!...Looks more aggressive!

The Chrome ZR-1's look cheap to me...

New ZR1 wheels:
Attachment 47738334[/QUOTE]

I have the same wheels on mine and think that the silver ones look so much better than the chrome ones. Chrome is OK, but they require lots more attention to keep them looking good. Mine may not be a powerhouse of a car, but it sure looks better and meaner with the silver ZR1 wheels.

Yeah, I thought so too. Maybe on some colors more than others. But, RED is a bright color, and my thought is/was chrome would be OK. See what you guys think...

I don't know if silver is more "aggressive" than chrome, but these chromies are on an "aggressive" C4. (Maybe some LT5 "music" might tip the scales?? CLICK ON bottom picture)

Nice Video
I like chrome and polished wheels, painted silver is nice also if it has a shine to them. Currently still have the originals on mine.

Paul- the chrome looks good with your exhaust tips. Have you thought of lowering yours? I think it makes it look super mean.

I agree, something about how Red goes with Silver ZR1 wheels.

I know some guys like the stock wheels but I think those new wheels give your car a more updated look and the silver works well with the red.

There is a third option after silver and chrome.
Polished aluminum.

Brighter than silver, but softer than chrome.

I did the same thing with my formerly owned 89. I ordered the wheels direct from Chevrolet in 17x9.5 back in 1995. In 1996 I added the black centre caps from the Grand Sport wheels.
