LT1 acceleration stumble when exiting hard turn,
I have a 93 6spd, this weekend at autocross I experienced a really bad hesitation/stumble coming out of a hard right hand 180. It was a good straight (maybe 50-60mph) then hard on the brakes, then a hard righthand 180 turn. The car would do it every time on this corner and no where else on the course. It felt like completely turning off and on the ignition, not just a cylinder miss. Maybe even some "backfire" through the throttle body. I would ease up on the accelerator alittle to get it going again, and then the rest of the course in was fine, even at full throttle. If anyone has any experience with this type of problem. information would be appreciated. P.S. the gas tank was half full of gas.
Thanks,
Ron

Ya need a bit more gas in the tank
I'm betting 1/2 tank on the display = between 1/4 and 1/2, that kind of turn flung all the gas away from the pickup. Its one of the drawbacks of our cars.
Also when was the last time you replaced the filter sock in the tank?
When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?
THere is a post somewhere here that a person made a better fuel sump using a bottle around the fuel sock so it always had a pint or so of fuel around the sock.
