Hard to think about Bowling Green when the temp is still in the (-'s) and the windchill = ridiculous! But! Rumor has it, there are going to be more emphasis on driving and partying events this year than seen in quite a while!

Drag racing! It looks like the deal is done, and drag racing is going to be available at Beach Bend - God willing and the creek don't rise...AGAIN!

An autocross event is tee'd up, with trophies to be given out at the event.

There will be some local cruises to various points of interest; things to see, good things to eat, lots of fun cruisin' the KY hills in the area!

The return of the VERY successful MOUNTAIN CRUISE leading up to the kickoff of the BG Gathering. THREE DAYS AND NIGHTS OF CORVETTES. CURVES THROUGH THE BEAUTIFUL APPALACHIAN MTS, and FUN, ending up at Bowling Green on Wednesday evening, May 14th for a Gathering of Eagles.

If you've never been to "Mecca", or haven't been in a while, this year might be the year to come!

The BG event runs from May 14th thru the 17th. Hope to see a lot more C4 brothers there this year. And, if you're curious about the ZR-1s, and maybe never driven one, chances are YOU might be able to DO that!!

Sounds like fun, thanks for the update. Nice to think about spring/summer driving - its 5 degrees today, 15 below tonight, and -4 for a high tomorrow.... pretty tired of this....

I havn't been since I was a kid during the 5th anniversary bash (before I could drive). My dad and I took the 40th down then, which is now mine.

This year, im taking the 40th down and my dad will be driving his c6. Cant wait!

Oh how I would love to join this gathering. We are thinking about attending the power tour this year. The Girlie got extremely sick last summer in the Z06 on the dragon. I had to leave her at the bottom while I ran it a couple times. Maybe I can get her to take some motion sickness pills but I doubt it. Uhg

Anyone have a lead on hotel rooms in BG? I've called 7 of them now and they are all booked with various Corvette groups. I know there is some stuff in Franklin, KY open but i'd rather be closer to the action in BG....
