The last two pics are the shift indicator i made...As the spring loaded pin makes contact to the brass terminals, it grounds the light out for what gear your in..Inspired by my pinball machine lol.....Should work good...Think its better then 7 micro switches but we shall see....

Very creative. But unless you seal that assembly in a waterproof box, the contacts will get dirty very quickly and you'll have problems with intermittent lights. The microswitches may be what you end up with in the end.

Believe it or not, i made that in 2014. Polished solid brass machined on my lathe, and not so much as tarnished yet. It mounts in front of the shifter under the console...Like i said, see what happens

Cut old wiper motor cover and fiberglassed it flat, then painted. Valve cover clears now.

Great job on the wiper motor. I used to love this kind of work. Makes you feel good about something you were able to do yourself.

Everyday you are getting closer. Going to be a fantastic build when it is completed.

Honestly, the car has been painted at least 5 different colors in my head over the years lol...But i think it still stands at graphite. I wanna just put 5 colors in a hat and pick one and run with it. I think you could paint it any color and id be happy lol...Thanks for the compliment!

Nice! I think I will do the same, we had to notch the cover too.

Unless you want to do it for me

So far ive driven back and forth in my driveway 3 times lol! Yes , I had a tear in my eye, and yes i know the mufflers are not straight lol....Getting the list ready for winter, but right now im a happy camper!
