The perfect c4 corvette
Engine,trans,gear ratio, brakes,suspension,tires,seats,etc.
I think it'd be cool to make a road-worthy 1989 ZR1, actually (you know, the original King of the Hill, brand spanking new). 1989 model interior and wheels with the ZR1 powertrain is a cool combo.
See, I'd want a build from each body style and interior style because I like them all for their own charm. If money were no factor, I would just build a dozen c4's and wonder where to store them, lol. Like I just pictured an '84 but with suspension and drivetrain parts from, say, '96 (LT4, ZF6 etc).
Basically, if you gave me a sheet of paper and said "draw your no-limits C4" I'd hand it back looking like a cobweb with scribbles in corners of alternate ideas in a giant mess that's hardly legible.
What can I say? I just love the C4. This is why I can't get into builds. I'll never stop and go broke in the process.
SBC 400, 230ish roller cam, great heads, ported SLP T-Ram intake
ZF6
All Heim and ball bearing suspension
Black, tan/black '92/'93 interior, with '96 GS or '94^ ZR-1 Gauges/switches
C5 Z06 wheels/brakes.
Magnetic shocks
Killer stereo using "Q-Forms" type front speaker mounts to give a real front sound stage.

LT4/6MN
Corbeau seats
Ceramic pads, synthetic fluid recently changed
4.11 gears
Aluminum flywheel
Bridgestone Expedia on wider HRE 3-pc wheels
Koni shocks
MOMO steering wheel
Santana on the CD
....perfect.
Of course if money really was not an object I'd have a Mclaren 12c spider as my DD d8o).
Has anyone seen this? http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/4275740532.html
Someone clearly did a C4 frankenstein build... and used the CFI. In a '94 body. With 88-89 cuisinarts and 80's dash. I'm so confused I don't know what to think.
I guess I admire the creativity. I think it actually all goes together well... except the CFI.
