Your thread in "C4's for sale" has information that is quite complete. The only two things that you need to document a true Z15 (CE) build are the VIN and a snapshot of the SPID label from the vehicle. The SPID label will show both the VIN and the RPO content. The SPID label VIN needs to match the windshield and the door certification information. If you still had doubts and wanted to confirm you could take the VIN to a GM parts department and have the VIN and RPO content confirmed by them.

It's actually that simple!

Now you need to confirm that all of the CE equipment is still with the car but that should be easy enough. An AT/A4 (M30) will be an LT1, an M6 (MN6) would be an LT4.

Snapshots should answer all of your questions before you make a drive to inspect. The OE CE wheels have a "Certification" cast into the wheel so you can confirm that they are the GM/OE original.

I didn't see your last entry in the other thread until I posted this so I guess you could have actually came back here and "deleted' the original but since you asked I left all of the "EASY" checks that you can do before getting "EXCITED" again.
