Re painted the front bumper on the 94 BAM Coupe. The car has the original paint and that was confirmed when I sand out the gouges and spider cracks. In and out in one day and a total cost of $35.00 for the pint of paint. Color match was perfect! http://s823.photobucket.com/user/kev...mper%20project

Turned out nice What material did you use for the filler. I understand that Bondo does not adhere well. I have to redo mine too and it has some gouges in it that should be filled in first.
I used a 3m glazing material with hardener. The gouges that were there about a few micron deep, enough to leave paint when I sanded out the area. Bondo would just have sanded out anyway. I skimmed the entire area that was damaged and then sanded away 99% of the glaze. I primed with a high build primer and then wet sanded that away until I was seeing blue shadows through the primer. (pretty thin). It did a good job filling the 80 DA scratches and gave me something to block out the rest of the gouges.
Ill be doing a similar job on my '94 in about 2 months. Can you say how difficult it was to remove and re-install the front bumper cover?
Did you find any instructions for this?
No instructions just follow the bumper around the edges and you will find all of the bolts. Took my time and adjusted all of the gaps when it went back together. I wet sanded and buffed it out yesterday looks new!

I used Sherwin Williams auto paint, their high build urethane primer and their clear. Finished photos of the final job after wet sand and buff and I spent a lot of time aligning the gaps that were way off from GM.[IMG][/IMG]
