Finally got to drive it more than just down the road and back, put almost 80 miles on her and man that felt good. Been a long time coming but I can finally say I have a corvette that I can drive.

Pair of catch cans.
Over the winter while doing my routine cleaning of the intake I noticed oil in the PCV lines. So I figured a pair of catch cans for each valve cover couldn't hurt.

I broke something in the diff on my autocross car last weekend. The side yoke on the driver's side likes to move in & out and the car handles like brown smelly stuff. I'm assuming it is probably just a clip holding the side yoke in. I hope there is no damage to the Tru-lock or any other component.

I added up the cost of parts and labor for repairs and PM for the first 12 months of ownership CE LT4 with 95k miles. the answer is:$ 9,734.71. it is impossible to see where 1 single cent went.

Johno. Get in the car take it out on the street and floor it. Then look in the rear view and you will see exactly where all of the $9734.71 went.
That's why I don't add up my receipts. It would be depressing to see how much my toy cost. But a couple of things. It's still cheaper then a C7 and after you have put that much into a C4 there isn't going to be a lot more to go wrong so you should have a pretty nice solid car to enjoy for years to come.

Drove over to Burnyzz High Performance here in Ocala...mapped out an upgrade plan.
1. Swap rear differential 2.59 gears for 3.07 ( I have a hook on one locally)
2. Have them perform a Dyno Tune with their chassis Dyno utilizing Tunercat Pro.
3. R & R all of the suspension bushings.
You have to have goals and those are my short term.
Burnyzz is a fully equipped shop and can and will do just about anything !!
There are a lot of Car Guys here in the Ocala,Fl area with a show of some type happening every week.
We decided to have a car show last month in our neighborhood and had 30 plus cars...everything from a '72 Panterra to a '63 Split Window 'vette...show up out of 147 homes!! It helps that everyone has a 3: car garage and some even have lifts...I picked the right place to retire!!

Started repair work on the gauge cluster and LCD, found a few broken traces more bad bulbs and a bunch of bad bulb contacts.
When you can't get to a buried screw this happens. At this time I found the panel that folds down to get the kick panel out from under the colum.
Broken lead for the security light
Broken lead for LCD backlight power
Nearly 2 hours to get the films and glue off.
First time seeing it all lit up.

Replaced my cracked and tired red seats with good quality used black ones. I like taking some of the red out of the picture.

Oh, C5 brake rotors vanes are supposed to point backward at the top? And you're really supposed to wash them in soap and water to remove the storage chemical? Crap.
Jacked, removed calipers, removed rotors, washed, brake cleaned, reinstalled and got Her back on the floor.
Finally got to Drive!
