Looks very "slick"; have you ever done a cut & polish on her?

Thanks. No she just gets Zaino’d. Could use a good cut and polish one of these days.

Callaway wheels and Willwood brakes, what's the story there?

Yea, what size are your Wilwoods? My Dymags wouldn’t fit over my Wilwoods, so had to go with larger wheels. My Dymags are still available, see C4 Parts For Sale.

I had a buddy that worked at Callaway in the mid 90’s who turned me on to these from one of their customers who swapped them out for a set of the Bridgestone run-flat wheels and tires when they first came out. The brakes were a project we did using Wilwood billet SL6’s and 13” x 1.25” rotors, we CNC’d our own brackets and hats to fit the ‘84-‘87 cars. I’ve had them on for years and they work great.

Sent a block to the shop on Friday to get prepped for my '95. Gonna put a 383 in it, the stock LT1 is pretty tired.

...and was told today that it was no good, that the mains were spun. So now I'm looking for a new block.

...on the other hand, I could always drop this LT4 into it...

I had been rolling around with the spare tire in the trunk of the car . Decided to return it to it's correct location .What a pain in the *** it is to put back

I don't have a manual, so I got under there and figured it out myself. Not too bad once you see how it works. Took me 20 minutes to do this task I now know how the spare system works though so there's always that haha.

Changed the rear end goo after the 500 mile break-in of the 3.54 gears.
Used the super cheap HFT transfer pump as suggested by another member. Worked like a charm...but a word of warning. Take your time pumping it out.

It's all in the math:
Friction hose fittings + super thick and cold gear oil x lots of pumping pressure = gear oil bath.

I really hate the stink of gear oil.

I had a drain plug installed on the bottom of my diff on the Autocross car. No more sucking the oil out.

How do you drain the oil without getting it all over the exhaust? (Assuming your exhaust is still routed along the stock exhaust route.)

My 3 1/2" in, 4 1/2" chamber, 3 1/2" out, stainless steel Flowmaster muffler dumps at the diff.

I was going to provide a picture but, I realize that I put my heavy Flowmaster Dual Exhaust setup on to get my exhaust below 92 decibels for an event at Arizona Motorsport Park because of their strict sound policy, and this setup is directly under the diff. If anyone cares, I'll provide a picture after the event and when I swap out the exhaust back to the single Flowmaster setup.

Drove the 94' down to Sanibel Island for the weekend with the wife for our 2nd anniversary. 6 Hours round trip + bumming around on the island. She didn't skip a beat, still love this car. Ran into a few other Vettes along the way as well.

...today I spent considering letting it go to upgrade to a '96 6 speed. Not sure how I feel about that.

Couldn't agree more. I don't really understand why it smells so bad. Heat and friction? Doesn't seem so foul going in new.

They are Patriot brand from Summit. Jeg's and Speedway sell them as well. Cut the original pipes below the area where the O2 sensor is located then cut, fit and welded a 90 degree pipe to run toward the outside of the car and connect to the 3" chrome 90 that comes with the side pipe kit. Had to grind away a bit of the lip that hangs down from the frame where the pipe crosses it. The hard part was mounting the assembly to the frame. The hardware they send is jury rigging to me so I machined clamps from Aluminium plate and screwed it to nut plates placed inside the frame. The kit is pretty nice aside from the hokey U-bolt mounting system that comes with the it. The finished product sounds good and adds to the appearance of the car I think.

I finished fixing my no heat issue.
new blender motor from Amazon was $48.
thank god, blender motor is located in bottom of heater core is all I can say.
Still difficult as I had to shoehoned my fatass in there upside down to access the bolts...

But I got heat now!!!
