I just got my C4 home on Monday after being painted. So, yesterday, as in the days before, I am busy putting the body panels back on and getting them aligned in time to drive the Mountain Run 2 that starts May 12th in Blowing Rock NC for a 3 day run.

The run starts on Monday May 13th on a mountain scenery cruise through NC, GA, TN, and culminates in KY at Bowling Green for the C4 gathering.

Took her down to a nice flat old country road, came to a complete stop then blew the tires off her a couple of times. Then she went home and got a nice bath.

U don't want to see pictures of my mess. I am repairing the previous owners mess in regards to the stereo got the console ripped out and half the dash. it amazes me what stupid things people can do not only that he broke two tabs on dash pad that help hold it together properly, I wasn't pleased. now to rip the seat out so I can replace the side console panel that is warped out of shape from him running excess cables through it.

Removed original EGR valve and dismantled the L98 fuel rail tonight. Flushed, cleaned, installed new Viton O-rings and reassembled. Awaiting new Injectors to arrive so I can button things back up!

Just finished taking the heads off of my '88. I am about to change head gaskets, etc. Randy's engine makes me jealous. Mine will never look like his!

I removed my HID H4 hi/lo lights
After two years two ballasts and one HID globe i have had enough, will miss the super bright lights though..

Have my usual 100w/140w H4 globes fitted now.
Now if only i could slow these early C4 headlight doors like the 88-96, the 84-87 ones shut with a "THUD" and usually the normal H4 globes do not last long.
That was the great thing about the HID lights no problem with hot filaments when the lights flipped down without waiting for them to cool down.
