Built some ramps, changed the oil. Tomorrow a wash and wax, and drive.

Replaced the outer tie rod ends. Thanks to the C4's hood design I did them from the top. Steering effort actually lightened up. I guessing the one that was really bad was actually binding because it was so loose.

Replaced the fuel pump. 30+ years on the original, not bad. I doubt the new one will last as long.

Pulled the carpet and padding out from behind the seats all the way back and removed the Bose speaker enclosures on my newly acquired 86' C4.

I did my rear suspension a couple years ago. I only had one that looked like that. It's a good opportunity to make everything pretty.

Default Emissions!

Took my '93 vert in for emissions testing. Passed with flying colors. I attribute it to the LED turn signals I installed this morning!

Annual oil change and cleaned dirt off the wheels.

Will be posting here again soon -- got a bunch of work planned within the next month (maintenance only, car doesn't need anything).

Tans Died
Getting car in position to remove transmission but first I have to remove all the new Exhaust system I just put in
Wish I had a lift, man! would it be 10x times easier.
Vette will be out of order for the next 2 months
But I will be driving my GP so it wont be so bad.

Yesterday:
New track pads, air filter, fuel injection cleaner, flushed radiator, change oil,
tightened intake, added some stop leak.
Yes the intake was loose and is making a mess. Only 70k miles.
Soon it will be coming off. Might be time for a cam upgrade. Not happy

Today:
Bedded the pads I put on yesterday.
Flushed the brake fluid, replaced with DOT4
Added some Numbers for the HPDE this weekend.
Next, I have to clean the car.

I had the same thing last month, harbor freight 12ton jack stands got me up high enough and very solid.

I noticed a scratch on you're rear panel, dang shopping carts. Matching the black will be rough... I like the late 60's theme of solid rear wheels and spoked fronts... great look

I had my 85 inspected also, he said the smoke coming off the rear tires was a little excessive but smelled great - so it passed
