We used to powder coat the rotors, and the put them on the machine and cut just where the pads made contact.
They stayed pretty nice for a while.... but that was on street rods that don"t see the abuse and heat a sports car puts on them.

I rolled it forward in the garage so I could open the tool box and get the tools I need for the 383 build/motor mounts on my truck/brakes on moms truck/interior on the sierra... (383 is going in another vehicle, not the vette. Probably will be faster too...)

New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and coil. Didn't really help my searching idle problem though.

Replaced charcoal canister - easier said than done lying on your back. Also replaced downstream purge vacuum solenoids.

I lived in Socal between 82 and 92 (from NY) and when I went to register the car that i'd drovin into California I was shocked between the crazy smog laws and the exorbitant DMV fees!
I can only imagine how much more those fees are due to Moonbeams socialistic policies! There is no train, just a funnel to support illegals so the libtards can hold onto power. How's that "New California" movement going? I hope it gets legs and splits the state up.

Installed a new LS7 clutch setup (new flywheel, disc, pressure plate, hydraulic throwout bearing), torqued everything to spec, installed the bellhousing and then successfully stabbed the TKO600 back in with minimal cussing and effort. Hopefully I will have her all put back together by Sunday night and start breaking in the clutch. After the clutch I plan on buying some mandrel bends and getting a 3" x-pipe exhaust done and then take her to go get tuned.

I can promise you that NY sucks year round. kidding aside, we have had some pretty nice spring and fall seasons the last few years.
