Opened pandoras box by jacking up the rear and taking tires off to clean and paint calipers and rotors....wound up .0004 steel wool and scotchbriting the aluminum rear end components. Pulling out the rear well plastic, painting those. Pressure washing the rearend housing and underneath the car. Pulled the exaust from the resonator back to clean and paint...(muffler delt.)
and I'll say, it looks killer!...on to the front!

Yes a disease! Took my cover off and ran the car as I haven’t driven it in a week due to all the damn rain! I want to take my rear tires off to clean and also install my Altec splash guards but I wasn’t given the damn lock for the locking lug nuts. Really bothers me because I’ve had the guards since January. Just need to get it to a tire place to take the locks off. Oh well Rome wasn’t built in a day lol

It's great for removing over spray from the glass.. We used it for years in the body shop.
Just be sure and blow the thing off good with an air hose after you're finished and it's fine.

Wet sanded the fog lights and front turn signals then hit them with a couple coats of clear. I didn’t think to take before pics, but if you know what faded plastic lenses look like, then yeah, that’s what I had 🙂. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out.

It's not as clean as some I've seen, but looks a heck of alot better.....next time the rear is up will be for new rotors, pads, and shocks...
plan on taking a small paint brush with some spraypaint in a lid for the small scratches etc....
Its my first vette, had it for about 4 months now....

Rerouted the evap line from my tank. Had a complete blockage where it dumps below the tank. A little evap tube and repositioning and all is better. Hope this brings down the high pressure in my tank

Finished my weatherstripping project by installing the door pieces that Amazon was nice enough to bring today! It now has all new weatherstripping, including doors, hatch, windshield, top, halo, etc... The doors close pretty tight now, so I lubed all the rubber up with dielectric grease and will now let it sit with the doors closed for a few days to help the new rubber conform to the car. It sure looks better than the old dried up weatherstrip did!

Recovered one of my seats that I am putting in the car. I bought a set of sport seats as that is what came in the car originally. One of the PO put in c5 seats and they are pretty bad shape also.
Happy with the way it turned out. Will get the other one done next week hopefully. Waiting on some parts for the lumbar hoses connectors for it. They are all brittle and just crumble so going to have to replace them.
My granddaughter got to be the first to sit in it.

Looks way better. I bet the air noise inside the cabin is gone now too.
