I gave my 89 a Go-Fast Lashing (valve Adjustment) and polished my Ruby. I don't have to give my Ruby a lashing because it is a stock grocery getter.

I drove my ‘91 ZR-1 over 500 miles yesterday to attend a BBQ with some fellow ZR-1 owners in Addison, Illinois. Then I got up this morning washed it and put it away.

I have never seen a ZR1 in that color. What’s it called?

It's called Melon/Copper Metallic. It is a '94 color that GM used on coupes and convertibles. They only produced 116 cars in the color, then dropped it because the paint was inconsistent. GM never painted a ZR-1 in this color. Rumor has it, one ZR-1 was painted in this color but wrecked at the GM Proving Grounds. I always liked the color and thought it would look great on a ZR-1. So this is my re-creation of what that rumored development car would have looked like.

Default I tried to fix my horn... but I failed...

I get a new horn button, new relay, new fuse.,, checked all the wires. Everything looks good but when I plug the battery, horn won't stop... So I have to remove the relay to make it stop and I'm waiting for somebody who could help me to solve my issue...

I assume I might have a defective "Theft deterrent controller" but I don't know where it is located.

Thanks for your help.

I have a 1988. I have a wiring diagram. According to this diagram, I would assume that I have a wrong information coming from the theft deterrent controller (to the relay) that makes the horn sounding permanently.

Is that possible ?

If you have the GM Service Manual (red) set there is a detailed diagnostic section on pp. 8A 133.0-133.14.
Do you have a DMM to measure voltages at various points on the TDM?

The TDM is located behind the RH side of the dash near the fuse block.

Does the horn sound with the horn ring disconnected?
Can you disable the TDS by unlocking the driver-side door with the key?

Put stainles allens in place of those darn star bits. Got a few of the manifold left to do next time plenum comes off.

Well i stopped in a random church parking lot to apply a mew learn to my ebl flash...
while sitting there i got an idea...

Yup, i just popped my doughnut cherry.
First time ever!

It was both exciting and scary at the same time.

On my way out there was some lady holding her arms up at me screaming "what are you doing?"

I thought that was a retarded question, so i just smiled and revved my engine at her as i drove past her.

I looked at it and walked by it a bunch of times while I replaced the sway bar bushings on the Titan.
