Removed targa top and drove it for a bit, did a nice smokey burnout, with a couple of spirited runs, then parked her in the garage .tomorrow I'm gonna refurbish the targa headliner and driver side targa weather stripping.

Thanks for the compliment. I do think it helped, just like having the normal top in. It felt like it stopped the flexing of the chassis, but that could have been just the power of suggestion. Either way, I like it and IMO it makes me feel like there is a difference not to mention I like the look. It was a very easy job to get everything lined up and set. It is such a nice quality piece and the black doesn't really set it off. Wonder how chrome would look.

Got it all polished and waxed up for a car show today.
But rain from 9am-8pm put a little damper on it.
They were only calling for a T-storm around noon, figured we would go grab lunch while it rained.
Then dry the cars off when we got back from lunch, and the roads would be dry by the time we left.
But somehow the forecast changed overnight........

The clouds parted and the sun peeked out just in time for the local Monday night car show.

LED Underhood Lights
Last evening I installed a pair of LED underhood lights. It should have been a 10 minute job, but as others have found out, the LED lights (superbrightleds.com) are just a tad too long to snap into the sockets. I had to pull out the trusty Dremel tool and grind away about 1/16" from the insides of the clips. After that, the lights snapped right in and look pretty good. I have an override switch for the lights, but if I leave them on now, it won't run down my battery, plus they are quite a bit brighter!
Regards,
John

Both LEDs, with lights out in the garage

I replaced the low oil pressure switch on my ZR-1. It sounds simple, but the switch is under the oil filter housing on the LT5 and trying to get at that thing is an absolute pain!
The only way I can afford a toy car is to do the work myself, so I'm not complaining
