Got stuck in mud. Bathed my baby with mud outside and in. Opened driver's door to see behind me while rocking. Sprayed interior and my face pretty well. Packed wheels and wheel wells. Nitto WTF's no good whatsoever in deep, slick mud. Might as well have been slicks. And if you've ever wondered, ASR is more a hindrance than a help if you're stuck. Took me a long time to get out with a shovel, sand, and mulch. Destroyed an area of (formerly) turf adjacent to driveway. Went to a car wash and removed all I had the patience to do. Still a lot of interior and carpet cleaning to do. Aren't you supposed to get wiser as time goes by? I mean this was a completely unnecessary screw up. Pic doesn't do it justice

tore down my 93 today to replacement the optispark. Going to power wash engine since I have it torn down and the opti doesn’t like bath time. New wires, thermo, gaskets, sensors while apart, and clean the **** out of the throttle body also.

Upgraded to LED headlights.
installed them but I'm not too happy with the results .I have another set coming from Amazon and will post pics and hopefully keep the better set .only $50 haha .
Edit: can someone point me in the direction for fixing the high beam fog light issue. I believe it's grounding something down or a harness that's plug and play .thanks!
Got all the glass cleaned & coated with RainX to help with clearing them from snow/ice this winter.
Working on a very recent miss/chugging problem. Tested manifold vac. and came up in the green. Short drive and still "chugging".
Hooked up my "new" used AutoXray AX7000 did a monitor data scan then a short test drive while monitoring and "voila" problem healed itself...
I have yet to review the two data scans to see if anything looks out of whack.
replaced the key lock cylinder in the 85's steering column - (well, i'm about 75% through getting everything back together). the plastic horn contact insulator was pretty brittle and came out in pieces, so i'm dead in the water until the new part comes in from Mid-America Corvette. seems time and old age took it's toll on the plastic. anyway, the 85 will sit, most likely, until after the first of the year - bummer
I had a tear develop in the car cover. I got some iron tape along with a repair kit for tents that just stick on. The tape worked but was a bit hard to get to stick while the tent kit was both easier and stuck very well. I also started her up and ran her for about 15 minutes to get her up to operating temp. Too much snow in the alley to consider taking her out but she fired right up and idled nicely.

Ah ha! Note the rear suspension hanging so low, mine does the same. Is that normal?
Hate seeing the car squatting when lowered to ground, gives me the heebie jeebies. First I tried lowering onto some 2x4s, idea being they had less load at first. No. Then I found a decent solution to all the rear to settle on lower: garbage bags. Put some heavy duty leaf bags under the wheels, folded with several layers. Slick plastic let's them spread out just fine. Need to make sure front wheels are chocked.
Just got done installing the NOS throttle body I bought last month on my 95. I was having some minor high idle issues that I think were due to worn throttle shaft bushings. A nice, easy job for Christmas Day. I can’t really test it out until spring, as I took the driving insurance off for the winter. It started up and idled smooth in the garage, so I’m hoping it will be fine.
today I worked on putting the differential back together on the vert'.
got frustrated on finding tools - spent the rest of the day cleaning the shop.
there is always next weekend
