Default C4 Roadster won our heart

Just wanted introduce myself to the forum members here. I'm new to this segment.
We sold our very well equipped C5 a few years ago after our son went to College and we made the move to downsize.
Well I heard of a C4 Roadster for sale not too far away and we decided it was what we wanted.
I really enjoy this C4, it's just a good fit for us
So I have a laundry list of service repairs and upgrades.
Brakes top the list first. It has way too much wear and pulse.
C6 caliper and rotor swap with stainless lines can help here.
Kudos to those who add a lot of very useful info here.

I've been using Denso Iridium plugs with stellar results but see very little posts with any brand of Iridium. Used them in the C5 and I have 108k mi. with an LSX so Ill post when I have a few miles on the C4

Welcome to the C4 forum. Provide pictures when you get a chance.
I did the exact same thing. I sold my C5 before my son went off to college. He just graduated and is off the "payroll" now, so I started looking for another Corvette. When the weather is nice, I often missed driving my torch red coupe.
I just bought my 1993 Ruby Red Anniversary coupe and am having fun with it so far - and with a lot less money invested. No major repairs to do, but just cosmetic fixes and some interior repairs -seats etc.
I am currently working on repairing the leather on the drivers seat bolster and documenting with pictures. I plan to post the instructions and results when I'm done this week. I've really been helped by information on these forums and I encourage all members to document and share their fixes with others.

Thanks for the welcome. Sure thing. Take some photos here soon. I'm in the exploratory stages right now.
The car is very correct but unfortunately sat about a year and needs alot of cleaning and fluids replaced etc. Overall it's in good overall condition
Venom, you might have some insight on this car. It came from Spokane.
It's a triple black 92 Roadster (52k mi.) all oem Came with paperwork in the car showing numerous recalls, water pump and ECU replacement.
Besides brakes there are no pressing issues to deal with right now.

Hey congrats on the new toy. You're only about 30 minutes south of where I am. Not many forum members up here in the north-west.

Welcome to the C4 section. Be sure to check out the PNW section of the forum. There is quite a sizable active group of vette owners in the Seattle - Everett area

I have a too much to do and too little time so these are going to have to do for now.
Thanks for such a warm welcome. I don't regret buying an older car. Actually enjoy driving a car that I can work on myself and it not be all new
Go easy on me. I bought the car two days ago after almost 12hrs. of driving return

Default Congrats

That's one sweet looking Vette there, congrats. I understand your feelings on being able to work on it yourself, that's one of the various reasons I bought my 86 - I don't plan to send to the dealer every time some little thing twitches. Like yours, mine is drivable and it's just little things I still have to do to make it even better, you definitely know the feeling I'm sure.
