Default Story of Corvette dumped in Delaware River is a doozy

Behind every Corvette winding up in a river, there’s a great story. Sounds a bit bizarre, huh? Then again, maybe not after hearing John Kramer’s account about why he drove a candy-apple-red Corvette he bought for his daughter into the Delaware River.

When the estranged wife, Stephanie, said she’d give up the van if John returned the Corvette, he decided to drive it into the lake. The story takes a number of twists and turns, but get this: one of the biggest reasons John cites as the impetus for ditching the ‘Vette in the water is that he didn’t want his daughter’s boyfriend to beat up on the car when driving it.
Yeah, that car won't be "beat up" now ...

Reminds me of the movie, Risky Business, and the service guy's question to the teenagers about the Porsche 928 that ended up in the river;

OK, which one of you guys is the Uboat captain?

Exactly, $3,600 is closer to the value of that car then $36,000
You can get those cars under $7k all day long.

the least Channel 3 could have done was to hire Ron White to do the news piece for this story - - - afterall, "You can't fix stupid...!"
