Look on the options tag under the storage bin door in the left rear. If the label shows the code "4001ZA". then you have a Malcolm Konner Corvette. This was the option code.

Default konner vette

I look into the storage compartment there was a ID tag but it didn't say option package it had I think was the vin numbers and a bunch of 3 digit numbers and letters... no option code 4001za or a 3 digit 1za so I guess the owner thought it was if you can think of any where else to look I'd appreciate it ... Thanks for your time

I was wrong on this and stand corrected. I am glad; I hope your car is a Konner. Good luck! And post back when you know.

The code on the storage lid. I always thought 4001za was there but if NCM says no I have to believe them.

So are these cars worth more than a standard 86 now?

Probably is worth more to the right collector. On average I would say its worth about $3.50 more than a standard 86.

Hey, Jorge. Did you change the wheels on your car to the black centers,(84-85 style) or was that part of the package?
I thought 86 wheels were like the one's from corvetteronw's museum pics. (Beautiful car, by the way)
