Speaking of Retro-Mobiles
T-bird has gone Retro, and Chrysler certainly has played with retro looking vehicles as well. If Chevrolet goes with a Retro Camaro it won't be too far off from the Retro Vette seen in the pages of the premier issue of "Corvette Magazine".
It is being produced in limited numbers by Advanced Automotive Technologies. The C5 conversion costs 29,995 - You supply the car.
I kinda like the front end, but the rear has those bullet tip tailights and they just stick out there in the wind.
I though the Forum might find it interesting.

I kinda like the retro looks of it but not at that price...not even close.

I saw that article and I think it looks GREAT!
But, I think you have be an "older" Vette owner to appreciate it more!!
I remember when the '53 first came out.

I very fondly remember my dad's 56, and how beautiful it was. I remember riding in it and the way it felt, sounded, everything! I was probably only 7 at the time and it still seems like yesterday. This well engineered tribute Vette invokes the same feelings for me.
I love it, and if $$$ permitted, I would do it! Beautiful...

I disagree, I'm 27 and don't even remember the C4s coming out much less the 53's but I think that is one awesome car.

I was reading the comments in C5 section as well, Those guys really hate it. Personally I'd but one in a heartbeat if I had the cash. Looks awesome.

Re: (bizaro1234)
I think it's great, other than the price. For an extra $30,000 on top of the cost of the car, it better have 32 valves & 405hp. That's a good idea for the 2006 Z06. :smash:
