In this image what are you looking for? Mention the item #. This should be correct for '94+ doors

I believe that document is done on a much earlier C4 quite likely. #47 in that image was added in '93 and I believe you're looking at a document relevant to likely '92 and earlier cars.

Was a broken part found loose in the bottom of the door or did you assume just missing?

Here's a '92 and earlier door

#58 likely - I didn't bother trying to match the document to the door image. I believe this is something I've seen mentioned several years ago after I saw your reference to that document.

I have not gotten in to the door yet. I have the window leaning toward the back of the car, and I was looking to find where to get the parts needed. On the diagram you provided I see the window guide, is only one needed per side. Just confirming I didn't over look anything.
Thank You for your help with my questions.

I've never needed or repaired a '93+ but I believe the more commonly discussed failed part is #62 in the appropriate image I mentioned. Maybe with the image and the ^^^'s the thread will gather some attention and responses from '93+ owners. I understand your problem but maybe a snapshot of your situation will get the attention of '93+ owners.

I looked at the document you mentioned again and I'm thinking that maybe the newer stop is being added to an early door OR looking at the user ID (VetteUSA93) of the document he has and was doing a '93.

A little search around the web indicates the part you are looking for item #41 which is GM 10263155 or GM 10236941 which is not available any longer from GM. I believe the failure mode is that the Velcro material falls off leaving the bare metal exposed to rattle against the window. This will most likely be a DIY project to re-attach some Velcro material. You could see if any of the salvage guys have any in the parts for sale section or check with vendors like Zip, Corvette Central, Mid America, Keen Parts, Willcox or Ecklers.

Colabear thanks for the info.
If I find that is the problem, the solution could be that plastic dip used coat tool handles.

Check this thread and then look at #62 like I mentioned. GM# 10243037 likely LH on Amazon and maybe other sources. Probably still available from GM - you might try a local dealer.

Yes, he will most likely require the left and right door window guides for the 1993-1996 Corvettes. They are available from Corvette Central or maybe Amazon or a local GM dealer as you suggest.

The OP is asking about the L-Bracket "STOP. Front Door Window." which is p/n 10263155 or 10236941 which is no longer available. See attached picture from your thread link which it tagged as the "Stops Travel of Window Guide at Top of Channel" He will most likely need to fix his old ones if the felt/Velcro material is missing or worn out.

That's the common failure mode when the window rocks backward. Those guides are plastic and just get old and fail.

What about the "L-bracket stop guide"? Anyone have any insight regarding its replacement? I am missing the right side one in my '85 and can't seem to locate one. Will the newer style replace its function? Where would I install it? I'm thinking I will probably just have to fabricate an "L-bracket", it's not really complicated but very necessary. Any comments?
