I would give the guy a call for more info on the car and see what he might take or throw him an offer you never know. At minimum you will have a little more of an education on the cars.
There are quite a few C4s sitting on craigslist for a while within our area. He may say no now but get back to you later. Some that I looked at the owners said they had very little activity on them.

The only way to contact him seems to be through email, the car was on craigslist for over 3 months before being taken down, and it just recently went back up. I don't currently have the space, nor money to take a serious look at the car.

Small update, I checked the carfax for the vette I sold, it was registered 12/28/16. I think this car might actually be on the road now, I won't know as the current owner won't respond to my calls. I'm pretty happy to see the car is still in connecticut and actually might be driven daily

Just a small hint, I Have more then half the money saved for the next Vette
