weighed my car last night
3280 lbs, no driver, 1/4 tanks of gas. with 2 passangers the front tires weight was 160 lbs more than the rear tires. anyone know how much convertibles weigh?

3280 thats pretty good, not sure what the 'vert should weigh though. I think the curb weight on my '85 is 3185.

what a coincidence. I went to the truck stop scale at Betteravia and 101 to weigh mine 2 days ago. They wanted $7.00, I said no thanx.

My '95 with me in it(about 200lbs), no spare, 1/4 tank of gas weighed 3368.
My '93 with me in it, no spare,almost full tank, weighed 3438.

My 96 LT-4 , no driver, 1/4 tank, fully optioned car......3240.
Each gallon of gas weighs appox 6.6lbs, so another 3/4 tank should be around 100lbs, getting my fully fueled car to about 3340 with no driver.

When I lived in Maryland, the landfill had a scale to weigh you in and weigh you out to determine the amount of rubish you were hauling. I figure you could find one of those and take a bag of trash from McDonald's Drive Thru. :jester

Mine weighed 3680 on the scale at the last Friday night racing. Of course, subtract 240 for me. So 3440 with a full tank of gas, rollcage installed and full Nitrous bottle that never gets used, and no spare or carrier. Seems that me and the car both need to loose a little here and there. :(

The Vette + me (125lbs) + Full tank of gas - spare tire = 3260lbs
