My 96 WAS...

1 of 2 Z49 Canadian car and it was totaled,

somebody does for all 96's... There actually used to be a very detailed data base on production numbers for all ’96 Corvettes.
It was a link on Wright State University web site at http://www.wright.edu/~mathews.5/
Broken down were exterior/interior color combos, + LT1/LT4 Engines.
FE1, F45, Z51 Suspensions etc.

I retained a copy of that .edu file and have added the FE1 cars to it. I've been doing my own VIN registry for 91's, 96's and 2000's as I find them at shows, on the internet and on salvage sites....up to over 11k 1996 VIN's with color combos and most RPO codes, I think 8k 1991's and about 5k 2000's.... I'm alittle OCD

The rarest option on mine is the Steel Blue color; according to pologreen1's link, only 813 were painted that color.
Also being a convertible with a 6 speed, both power seats and the FX3 suspension, the 'One of XX' is probably pretty low, but the general condition would make it not that valuable to most.
But its mine and I like it! I bought it as a project...and as such, I guess I really lucked out - , but I'm enjoying it. So far I've had to enjoy working on it more than driving it, but at some point that will flip flop the other direction, right?

My '96 is yellow/beige/Z51/LT4/sport seats. The former Collector Edition Registry said that there were six yellow/beige/Z51 coupes but didn't break those six down LT1 vs LT4. I saw one identical to mine for sale a few years back. Ironically it was in Phoenix where mine came from. I don't know how many of the six were LT4s. I think I recall seeing one more but it did not have sports seats. So is mine 1 of 5, 4, 3, 2??? Not sure but it's going to be pretty hard to find one like mine! I love the yellow and beige. It's a unique car that I never intend to let go.
Yes yellow LT4 convertibles are very rare. I'm so enamored with my combo I would love to have a yellow beige LT4 convertible. Three exist. I believe one was in Florida being driven with high miles but no idea on the other two.
Stang-etr96 you have a PM

1988 yellow Z52 'vert with the saddle/brown interior, sport seats, and Bose factory sound system. I'll have to post the dealer sticker I found in the glovebox while sucking up bird and mouse crap with a shop-vac and slathering with disinfectant and conditioner. Yeah, she's a barn find.

For the radio delete option UL5 did the rear quarter have a hole for the antenna with a plug in it or was it a completely smooth panel? I've never seen one, so am curious how they handled this for so relatively few built this way.

Best I can tell, the Z01 35th package only came Z52, unless you went with the B2K. Someday I'd like to find a 35th Z51 with a 4+3, but I doubt such a thing exists.
I had this conversation one time in a parking lot with somebody that pulled up in his pickup and we started talking RPOs. His wife sitting in the shotgun seat was probably thinking "What the hell are they talking about??"

Have a 1988 Callaway TT - Convertible - born red on red and now black. Aero Body added in 1989. 1 of 124 (or 125 - have seen both numbers). Would love to know how many are still out there running!
