Well done; your car rocks!
Thank you Loren, that's kind of you. I quite enjoy working on it, although the learning curve can be steep sometimes. Still have lots more planned for the car but one step at a time for now.

Your car is very nice also, love Red color, it looks great.

All the best.

With these bolts I can go from stock ride height all the way down to basically on the bump stops with just turning the lock nuts up or down

Hi David,

Sorry to resurrect your old thread but I just found it...and what a great thread it is!

It's Clive from Autocross BTW (2015 C7 Z51). I just bought a 1990 C4 Z51 to race in the GTU series at Area 27.

Do you mind telling me what supplier you got the rear lowering bolts from?

Hi Clive, hope your doing well. Congrat's on the 90, hope you have lots of fun racing it.

I got the bolts from fastnel on the langley bypass, (19425 Langley bypass, surrey). I don't know if Covid has affected thier service but I used to be able to walk right in and order what I needed at whole sale prices.

All the best to you.
-David.

Thanks David!

Always loved C4s especially in your colour and steel blue, but they are very rare so I had to "settle" for red, It was the best car for my needs on the market and I got it for a good price, so I'm happy.

Hope you and everyone in your family are well in this strange time of the pandemic.

Stay safe.

Yes it's a 6 speed ZF and has the Z51 package but also had the FX3 adjustable shocks, which unfortunately are no longer there, and that also unfortunately means that the springs were downgraded to NYR rear / FHA front instead of the ideal Z51 spec NYU rear and FHB front. Just missed a Z51 set for sale on this forum.

I'll pm you

I just happen to have a spare front Z51 spring from my car. Its yours free if you want it. I Had to use coilovers on the front of my car because with the weight I took out of the front of the car it sat to much too high on the front. not sure if the spring being out of the car for years effects it but your welcome to it if you want.
