I wanted to start a thread seeing how many original owners still have their cars. I should do search first. Congratulations on such longevity in ownership of three beautiful Corvettes, it is not easy keeping them running well!!!

WOW I am glad to hear of my original owners!!!

My friend bought a Corvette after his divorce too but I think he had remarried before he bought the Corvette. His new wife bought one too. I like going to their home and seeing his and hers Red and Yellow Corvettes.

I hope you have many more happy miles; I am at about 34 or 35 thousand miles.

Yukon, I bought mine new in 04 and have 40,000 on the clock after driving from Reno, nv to Oklahoma last Spring. We're going to Yellowstone at the end of May this year, but will be taking our 04 Ford Expedition to keep miles off the Vette.
Edit, my colored top has been on my headboard since 2004.

Sounds great!!! I have never been to Colorado but have been to California and loved it both times.

It’s funny I have been to lots of cruise nights in suburban Chicago I has a little sheet of paper that had a little history and features about the car for engine I put down “B2L” for some reason I thought that was right. Later I found out it was a “L98” LOL. It’s fixed now.

I don’t know the distance from Reno, NV to Oklahoma but have wanted to take mine on a road trip. I was less worried about mileage and more worried about reliability.

Are you using the top as a headboard?

We went to Rock Springs, WY on I 80 the first day, and Somewhere near Salina, KS I 70 the next and then to Enid, OK. On the way home we went out the Oklahoma pan handle into New Mexico and up I 25 to Pueblo, CO to Hwy 50 and spent the night in Salida, CO. The next day we went Hwy 50 to Ely, NV. I went from Ely to Fallon Nevada on the loneliest highway in America, 257 miles in 3 hrs 10 minutes. That little blue car was a rollin. About 1600 miles each way.

We always try to stay in Hilton Hotels because it is a clean room with breakfast included. Since new our Corvette has been a way for us to get away. Nights on the coast of California or hiking in Muir Woods (just North of SF) and every year we drive around Lake Tahoe for my wife's birthday.

Get in it and drive. If something happens, that's what they make tow trucks for. On May 21st we'll spend the night in twin Falls, ID, the next in Jackson Hole, WY, The Yellowstone Lake, Mammoth Hot Springs and then off to Burns, OR so we can see the Steen's Mountain's and then home.

I finally got the Corvette out today for the first time this year On Cinco de Mopar. I think the last time I drove it was Christmas 2015 so about four months since I drove it. It has not been that long but long enough that it seems like a new car. I hope I was not the last to get there car on the road this year.

Thanks kostas86 Post some photos of your car here. I love to see other 1990's. Yours has low miles. Have you taken your 1990 out for the year?

Oh the good old days. Speaking of rates back in 1990 I bought my first house and got it at 10% which at the time I was happy to get. Forgot about car loans back then being so high.

Nice to see another original owner of a C4-good looking car !

Yes the good old days I should have bought a home in 1990 instead of a Corvette but I could not afford a home then. I cashed in a 10.95% CD for the Corvette. You could deduct personal interest back then. My first home I had a 7 year 7% ballon loan. My second home is a 30 year 3.95% fixed rate loan. I think I have made 5 payments on that one so far.

Let's see some photos of your 1995. I always like seeing other members cars.

I had posted some photos of our '95 under thread " finally getting to drive our '95 vert ". I will post a few more photos for you here.

Speaking of the good old days I remember looking at the '90 vettes when they were new but ended up getting a '90 Reatta since I worked for Buick back then. Seems like if I am remembering correctly the Reatta coupe MSRP'd for around $32K -got a silver one with the maroon leather interior.

MrWillys that sounds great. I should have been doing that myself from the beginning. I guess there is still time to do a road trip.

Dill was where Connors is on 49 in Chesterton. I grew up in Portage, now live in Hobart.
