I am helping my buddy rebuild an 88 C4 Corvette for his dad. His dad bought the car years ago after his time in the military and loved the car to death. It was his dream to own a corvette. About ten years ago the transmission went out and forced him to park the car. He never had the time or money to get it going again. We are doing our best to get the car running again and return it to him.
Since it’s been sitting now we have to replace wiring that has been chewed through by mice. All of the vacuum lines and bushings around the car. Pulley bearings. All of the weather seals around the car. Tires, breaks, and suspension. That’s just the things we have discovered so far and we find something else every time we look at it. Some background info would help the cause. I don't believe many people are just going to toss money at a go fund me because it says corvette in the address.
