Default Car Wax for a C4

Any recommendations for wax for a 88 C4 with an original finish that is in good shape?

Zaino. Lots of initial effort then easy to maintain.

I'm a Meguiars guy. Never had a problem with their products. I use their wax and then use detail spray.

Meguiars is awesome. I tried out some blackfire midnight sun. Like it a lot.

Collinite no. 845. Nothing else. Use it on everything: even light housings, wheels, wheel barrels, etc.

Start with their clay bar kit after a wash and then use their ultimate wax. It looks great on any car, no matter the paint color. If you do have a white or black car there are waxes made for those paints specifically

There is a discussion on the C5 general forum about a product called Chadwicks. I am going to give it a try. You will have to google it to find out where to buy.

I use their gold class soap, and the gold class carnauba plus. But I like blackfire wax more. Still, meguiars is awesome stuff.

Ive been using Ibiz for 17 years. It goes on real easy and comes off easy. Fills swirl marks and looks great. Things have certainly changed since the old Somonize days.

Used a lot of different products over the years, The most important thing is to use them regularly. I do like Adams, have been using them the past few years.

- just about any quality wax or sealant will fit the bill.

IMHO, all wax and polish is 90% hype, 10% fact -- cost wise, somewhere you'll hit the point of diminishing return. i've probably tried 50 different types, and the results were all pretty much the same. if you have good, glossy paint, just about any quality wax or polish will provide you enough protection between waxings. so if i have to spend $60, and several hours on a 2-3 step process, or $10 on a one step, half hour process -- guess what route i'm going...

here's a pic of my ICE'd black z06 next to a friends "zaino'd" red z06 - i know it's just a pic, but i can tell you, i got as many (shine) comments on my black "Z" as his red "Z" - (and that would kinda pi$$ him off - )

I assume you are referring Turtle Wax's Ice product - you used paste wax, spray, etc.?
Thanks for the post.
