A few reasons why I like my C4
1. The best reason is: they are CHEAP to buy because nobody wants them:
2. Insurance is inexpensive I think the Ins co feels sorry for me, they think I couldn’t afford a decent car
3. I can leave it unlocked with the windows down and no one will steal it
4. It’s a fun car. With a few cheap mods to the motor it will still get third gear scratch
5. People who don’t know any better turn their heads to see it because it is still a VETTE
6. It stands out from the crowd. Because it is the only C4 at a car show, that’s because most sane people ditched theirs years ago
7. Looking at the back side of the frog eyes while driving at night, that is if and when they decide to open
8. I love the windshield leak, especially when my girl friend is along and she gets her lap wet, then I try to convince her to get out of those wet clothes.
9. Laughing hysterically while watching a new girl friend trying to get in or out for the first time
10. Not having to worry about driving with the ebrake on because they never worked when they were new
11. Getting 23 mpg in the city and 29 on the hiway and didn’t have spend $30,000 to get that kind of mileage

Better get one soon they are starting to jump in price. Mine has black interior, the premium price to find one in red just wasn't worth it to me. My 96 CE Convertible had the red interior which parts for the red is harder to find.

Drove my '86 to the state capitol yesterday where I submitted my retirement papers. Made a day trip of it and went by one of the libraries there and a bunch of 13-14yo kids was walking toward the library as I drove past.
It was most gratifying to see the next generation of gearheads drooling over the car at the stoplight, esp. when I flipped on the lights and the headlamp doors rolled up and open.
