Makes me wonder what's going on inside those rubber brake lines.
I need to do this fluid change, but it will probably involve lines at the same time. Mine look original.
Thank you for the terrific videos and helpful advice!

Oh yea. That was the fate of my first brake fluid extractor: a turkey baster. The bulb just crumbled in my hand next time I picked it up.

Nice videos!
I feel your pain when it comes to aftermarket crap installs!
My wife's 69 Vert had a "reverb" unit installed, along with some other crap. the good thing about an early C3 is the dash panels come off so easily that I could expose almost the entire sub-panel harness in just a few minutes.
I never saw such a rats nest of wires...and splices where the wires were twisted together and wrapped with electrical tape (which had dried and was unraveling).
In all I took out a wad the size of a soccer ball. And, like you I had to trace the harness and rebuild it; soldering and heat-shrinking and wrapping. And, surprise, surprise! everything worked...and still does after 10 years since rebuilding the harness.
It's amazing what some shitz-fists can/will do to "modify" their cars. I'm helping a friend rebuild his 81 C3...same thing. dozens of cut wires, loose connectors that go to???? Sporadic, mysterious batter draining issues... You know the drill!
Very nice 96. Enjoyed your video. Good luck with it!
