Pic of the 85
Couldn't help to take a quick pic of the ol 85 the other day in the driveway right at dusk...after 15 years + of ownership , still enjoy it! She can run with the young girls since she has been under the knife and spent time in the gym!

The wheels are forged from Schott Performance out of California; they actually look better in person than the pics, I discovered them on the TV series Gears with Stacy David. He used them on that Cougar project and I liked them a lot. American made in Cali upon your order with offset, etc. The blue is admiral blue along with the hash, and the rear I got from a local Corvette parts shop; I think it was an Eckler's aftermarket piece.
I have a binder book on the car separated in sections for each modification or restoration project. Too much money in it to part ways with it.
Dt86, I have said it before and I have to say it again. I don't have your skill set to do all the work on this car myself so I have relied on professional help (who have done outstanding work) but wish I could have done the work myself like you have! I tip my hat to you!

You know after the paint job it still looked it was missing something with the admiral blue stripe; added the hash mark, which is paint, not vinyl and it set it off much better in my opinion.

That is one mighty fine Corvette! Congratulate yourself on a job well done. I'd love to see more pics. Close-ups of those wheels in particular. And more details about the mods you've done, etc. Sounds like a great car.
