It really does not leak in the rain. Only leak I get is if I have a spray nozel on the hose and spray it right on where the 2 pieces of weather strip join right at the top corner of the passenger's side window, even then its only a few drops.

That gives me a steady trickle with the spray nozzle.

Someone actually told you at a cars and coffee that they HATE your C4?

I know this comment was not directed to me but, quite a few years ago at a Corvette show I was talking to another Corvette owner and he asked which car was mine, He quickly told me that he used to have an 86' C4 Z51 and thought it was just an awful car and sold it after 2 weeks of ownership and bought a couple year old base C5/auto. which he loved. (C5's were still the newest back then) He then said that his car was a 'real Corvette'... I didn't bother talking to him again.

I used to get that sort of thing a lot from newer model Corvette owners, this year finally my C4 is starting be accepted as being part of the Corvette 'brotherhood'.

C4 has always been part of the "brotherhood" it's a Corvette. You will always have ignorant stupid people. There is no fix for that. Just comes with the hobby.

Now I hear how my car is so ugly and has Camaro tail lights. I love my car and can care less what anyone except myself think about it.

His comments never really bothered me, I just thought he was a grumpy old dink!

For sure most owners of Corvette's are great people who shared my enthusiasm for the cars regardless of what year or generation they owned, but ya there were a few people that had the 'mine is better than yours mentality' Thankfully I don't not run into that too much anymore...

I must say you have a fine looking C7, it looks really good!

Thanks Yukon, I see you have owned your vette since it was new. That's awesome and you don't see that very often on the forum. I hope to be like that also

Blue 91 ZR-1, Spiral Gray 04, Yellow 95 LT1. I sold the C5 a few years back after putting 165K miles on it as a DD and got another ZR-1 93 Yellow.

That's BS. If you ever hear that again from someone respond with this:

How is yours a "real corvette" if it was a derivative of my C4? Knowing that, wouldn't my C4 be the real Corvette bc it is the more original of the 2 and therefore the more authentic and true Corvette? Yours wouldn't have been possible without mine so recognize and respect.

Then just walk away haha
