OK. Finally got all the pieces. I got the Genssi lights as recommended. Also, instead of the Circuit doctor mod, I went with the resistors. Lets see how it all installs when I got the time.

Final report:

1 resistor didn't do it for me. It needed 2 but that isn't so bad since it comes as a pair and there is plenty of room to install and zip tie so you can remove easily. Without the resistors, it will do as Circuit Doctor mentioned and the fog lights will have issues.

I had CorvetteHID lights before Yossi went out of business and they were starting to have issues. When I hit bumps, it would blink. We fixed the left but the right started to have issues and my choices were to source out the connectors and hope they would fix it or hard wire it and hope for the best. Neither were good options. Yes, their time was over and I have no regrets so I moved on.

Initial assessment in the garage was that it was brighter than the OE bulb which I happened to have one of somewhere. The short ride I took yesterday showed better cut off but I didn't really take it out for a long jog to assess. Today it is snowing so I can't.

That all said, color me impressed for the money spent. It is more like natural light than CorvetteHID or so it seemed. Obviously it was way better than the stock yellow bulb. When I can, I will take it out and get it aimed right and I think it can only get better. Right now I have them set up for about 40 feet and it seems really bright and as I said, a little whiter than CorvetteHID and less wiring even with the resistors.

All things considered, I'd do it again if I had another C4
