I liked them so much in the Vette that I ordered a pair in black for the Dodge. Cannot say enough about the quality of the light or how great the customer support department is.

Regardless of which vehicle I take to car show / cruises I get as many comments about the projector lights as I do the cars.

FYI -- On both the 80 & 85 I had to do the "circuit doctor fix." The resistors did not work on these vehicles.

Wow some nice aluminum welding there. Did you do that custom fab work? It's really nice

Still going strong in the 94'. Used them for a couple hours Saturday night definitely like them. Need to adjust them properly still!

Thanks - I would love to take credit for the tig but it was Eleo Martin; his welds are beautiful.

He did my dash too and the welds were so nice we did not grind them down.

Why bother to add? Just turn it on high all day long for high beam DRL. Just don't be surprised if Johnny Law also is a hater. Unlike the other hater who probably got pissed at you blinding him, JL isn't a civilian so he/she can and probably will turn his own bright lights on you. Don't really care for JL and his/her disco lights. Your call.

Any advantages disadvantages on these vs GE nighthawk?

Has any better options come available since these came out?

How is the low beam? Does it have a cut out (like e specs) to avoid blinding other drivers?

Also can the lights be adjusted so both low and high properly illuminate the road? (Ie. Not that low beam adj to light road and hi lights up tree branches, or low beam is into the ground and high lights roads) -thats a problem with headlights on our low ride height cars

I bought a pair of led lights for my 84. Unfortunately they were quite a bit heavier than my Hella H4s. Not good on the front of a racecar. Had to return them. Every pound counts.

I tried to drive against my parked car. It seems OK but the C4 is low so not sure. Even at stop lights, trucks behind me also dumped enough lights to bother me in the center rear view mirror. Got fed up with it and put the mirror where it belongs. The trash can. Replace it with the self dimming one and it was better.

What mirror did you replace it with?

That's on my to do list. Have a mirror waiting to go in (with home link too!). Just gotta get around to it and figuring out how to mount it, since my 92 has a screw mounted mirror.
