Got one a couple of years ago for my 86 convertible. It works well, fits well too. Easy for one person to put on and take off. Only negatives on it is it is relative easy to tear, got too close with hand pushing a snow blower the other year and tore a small hole the front. It's also temp sensitive, while trying to put an iron-on patch on the tear, too high a temp on the iron and it will melt. My fault, not the covers.

I'm still using mine, it definitely was worth the money. I do park in a garage so it's an inside cover.

Does it have a soft liner or the same material inside as out?

It's a single layer cover, meaning the same inside and out. I don't know of any good multi layer covers at this price point but obviously there are tons of options available for the C4 across many price points. If you're interested in more info, feel free to give me a call at 888-631-1433.

Thanks,
Dave

The problem I've found with most of these covers is they tend to sandblast the paint when it's windy out. Also due to the nature of the material, if it rains and then freezes the cover either sticks to the vehicle or tears. (vs other materials that the sheet of ice just slides off).

Yea my cover exploited two small clear coat weaknesses in my BMW and caused them to expand in separate areas. The cover also ruined the clear coat on my rims as well. All on spots that the cover that would slap the car around when windy.

I've had the subject cover for the past 14 years, but my car is always inside - never stored outside.
I would not use this cover outside - period. Once wet, it's useless.

I just may buy a new one, as the original is starting to pill.

The econotech covers freeze to the car when the snow melts and re-freezes.
