Need advice on LT4 parts...
I've been on the Corvette forum over 10 years but mainly hang out in the C1-C2 section.
A friend of ours in his early 80's who owned a machine shop had a stroke and his wife is selling everything to offset the bills. On one of the disassembled engines the two heads, based on the casting numbers, looks as though they are LT4 aluminum heads likely off a 1996 Corvette. The casting number is 12555690. It has "LT4" polished aluminum valve covers. The stamp pad on the block doesn't bring anything up, but is a later block with a one piece rear main seal. Once we find out what it's worth I'll put it in the F/S section.
Any help would be appreciated. Here's some pictures:

Block seems to be sn lt1 or lt4.... I think heads are from another engine....

FYI, the Corvette's LT4 had black, composite valve covers. For the heads, you should be able to see "LT4" embossed on the passenger side head, in the front quarter (visible when looking in the oil fill opening of the stock valve cover)

On the side of the block in big numbers does it say "327"? These are the last three digits of the block casting number.
On the LT4 cylinder heads there is a cast in "LT4" marking. It can be seen through the oil fill cap hole in the valve cover on the passenger side head which is between the second and third valves from the front of the engine. It looks like that marking might be there on the third picture, but not clear like the surface might have been blasted or something. The casting number is correct for the LT4.
The valve covers are aftermarket, so they offer no clue except that someone put on "LT4" which may or may not be correct.
More than likely it is LT4 stuff.
