Going to be a cool project. I can't wait to see the finished project.

Are you planning on welding the nuts to the tubing? Typically I tig welded the nuts to the tubing, on the stuff I done in the past.

I actually drilled out the center of the pipe to the correct I.D and then cut threads in it so the rod ends screw directly into the pipe, one side has RH threads the other side will have LH threads (once I buy a LH tap). The nut on each rod end in the picture is just a 'jam nut'. I ground 2 flat slots on the outside of the pipe which allows me to put a 17mm wrench on it.

I wish I had a tig welder, for now all I have is a little 110V Mig welder. It's not fancy but I don't do much welding so its ok for now.

Happy Birthday. I have been enjoying watching the build. It is giving me ideas to do if and when I get my own C4.

Happy birthday buddy. Wow big 30 years old. Been awhile since I was that young. Heck I can hardly even remember being 30.

Have an awesome day. Probably a start to having a great day is going out and rev-up that motor in that sweet vette of yours.

My b-day last year I spent working in the knee deep mud and rain up in Slave Lake country. Was eaten alive by the bugs. Got stuck pretty decently going into one of the sites. At least I got to drink some beer that day, so life got alot better then.

Cheers buddy.

Thanks for the birthday wishes Mike Holmen, I have to work today but thankfully I'm not knee deep In mud and no bugs this time of year Its also a beautiful day today which is nice. Hope your next birthday is better than the last one!

Wish I could rev the vette up, but I got to finish the intake first, I did rev the engine in my CTS-V a few times though.

A picture of the weather today: its also about pretty warm at about 7 or 8C

Default Front Anti-roll Bar Endlinks

Hi everyone, I have a small update.

I did some calling around and found that there is only one 'local' store that sells LH 1/2 -20 thread taps.
They are not expensive at all and have several on the shelf, the bad news is it is a 2 hour drive round trip, just to get 1 thread tap

I thought about ordering one online but many places don't want to ship to Canada and those that do wanted way to much for shipping. I could make a trip across the boarder but that felt silly for only one small thread tap. The joys of being Canadian

Anyway I spent the 2 hours and drove to the 'local' store and got two LH 1/2-20 thread taps (in case I break one). As a bonus they had a pretty cool little show room in the store.

Now that I had the LH tap I was able to tap threads in the other side of my endlinks.

The left hand rod end screws in perfectly, so now I have an adjustable front endlink. I Just need to find some 1/2-20LH grade 8 nuts for it.

I also spent some time looking around my workshop because I thought I had some stuff left over that I could use for the endlinks...

I found 4 tapered spacers for 1/2in rod ends, one less thing to buy

They fit perfectly, as designed...

I also lucked out and found four 1/2in rod end dust boots, so I won't have to buy them either

Before I can order any universal sway bar parts I need to do some measurements, so that will be next.

I also was happy because my Hylomar Blue finally arrived so I can get going on installing the Super Ram Plenum.

I'm still waiting for my friend to finish my custom lid, but since he's nice enough to be doing it as a favor I don't want to rush him. Hopefully he'll have time to make it soon.

More updates to come...
