That's why they're weather guessers. 19 here. Driveway is glazed over.

Still not making any winter storage plans. Just beer and movie marathon, day two.

So far we haven't had a lot of snow this winter.

Last week we had some rain that cleaned off the streets and I could take the cars out.

However, we got an inch or so of snow and the salt came back. The forecast calls for some rain Tuesday, so maybe it will clear it off again (I hope).

I lived in AZ for about 15 years and I just can't get used to Midwest winters again. I don't mind the cold (it was below zero for 3 or 4 days this week), but I hate the salt on the roads.

Can't wait for SPRING!!!!!!

But they don't melt in the snow!

Before you ask, no this was not intentional and no I'd never do it again. lol

Love it.

However I have experience with the grill. It takes a lot more snow than that before you need to brush it off and while it is snowing the flakes make a nice sizzle sound as they land.

And for stocking up on beer, way ahead of you. You never can allow running low on beer. And a tip, when it is really cold the can huggies help to keep the beer from freezing up. (It was below zero here this morning and I grilled a steak for breakfast, The can huggies work if you drink fast enough.)

I drove mine to the beach house friday. It was way too cold to do much there (38*) so we just just watched football and stayed in. Its much better today, it was 51* when i left to come home.

I was a little blindsided by this snow storm. My snowblower was in front of the Corvette in the garage. I was so annoyed that my Vette got snowed on when I backed it out of my garage wheels spinning and all from the snow.

I put mine away in November and it will stay in the garage until April'ish. Around our area, the cities/state starts putting lots of different chemicals on the roads that absolutely eat cars up. There are a least a few board members that live in my general area and know what I am talking about. The stuff will get up in every nook and cranny (if you drive your car) and ruin it from the inside out.

Corvette season ended back then for us.

"OMG It's snowing, we're all going to die".
When I was down there, I think they had maybe 6 snowplows and they were all at the airport.

We did not get much snow here in Chicagoland this year, mostly in December and it has been raining so most it has melted. It was 50 degrees F so a few of us are still driving around. Checkout the Great Lakes section.

Its going to be 50 today, so that will turn into a mess. I am in the process of going through the new to me car now, so its probably away until spring

This was the view from our house this morning. It was -34 Celsius. The visibility was terrible. We broke a record from 1909 of most snowfall for a winter already.

My wife took this picture the other day after I finished shoveling. It's getting very hard to throw the snow on the snowbank!
