I stopped at a big box auto parts store yesterday and asked the guy if the had any bronze bushings. His response?
"Is that a brand"

A few years back i needed to replace the rear brake shoes for an old K5 blazer, there are two options for the shoes so i brought one with me.

I step up to the counter and tell the counter guy that i need brake shoes, and slap down the one i took off.
he asked me: "you need more than one right?"
