Are they the original factory wheels? I think that would be 17X8.5 on front and 17X9.5 on the rear.

z-51 package? That would mean 9.5 front and back.

Im thinking 285 is about as wide as you can go. Anything more and you would need an 11" wheel

A quick measure of the bead with or pull the rims and look on the back side to check out the width. Once you have that, most tire shops and online places have guides what will tell the maximum size tires that will fit a particular width rim. Not to say they will fit your wheel wells but what range will safely fit the rims.

I just checked and what I currently have on my car is 255/45 front and 275/40 rear. Stock CE wheels.

What are some of the pros and cons of putting a larger tire on my car?

TIA
