Bought my C4 yesterday
But can't pick it up till next weekend.
After looking and more than a few I finally found one I was willing to hand over money for.
92 Coupe, great paint, great interior, new tires.
Has 4 issues that I will have to address. From what I've read all are fairly common issues.
1) you can flash the high beams but not keep them on.
Switch adjustment? Maybe the switch
2) Right turn will only lock in with quite a bit of force, left normal.
Thinking something in the cancel cam/springs but will have to take apart and see.
3) Console pad is separating from the door at the edges. Pad in good shape, looks like adhesive failure.
4) The biggie. No heat, All control buttons work properly, so I'm thinking blend door motor or blocked heater core.

For the turn signal/brights, do you have a bunch of play in the steering wheel?
like lift the wheel up and down sorta slop.

The water gauge is at mid deflection. I also let it run sitting still until the fan cycled on and off to check that it worked.
The requested temp on the HVAC panel was run all the way to 90 with no effect.

Sorry, the 94 had a digital coolant temp display; I assumed the 92 did also. Might be worth borrowing a temp reader and seeing what it is going through the hoses, but I think blend door is the best guess.

Looking on eBay I see the 92 does have a GAUGES button? What happens when you press that? Later years have both the analog gauge and the digital display, and the digital is normally much more accurate (also, the analog gauge is not proportional, so if the needle indicates halfway between 100 and 260 (just as an example) that does not mean 180, it's probably less (check your FSM).

So if it is the blend door and I end up taking the dash apart to get to it, should I go ahead and change a potentially 25 year old heater core while I'm in there?

There are lots of YouTube video's on flushing the heater core.
Enjoy the new corvette!

Don't tell me, GM was still to cheap to even locktite the title bolts on a Vette?
My 86 Firebird was like that, sharp right turn would turn the key off... fun.
