1990 corvette rear deck will not release to raise the deck lid so the the top fold
The rear deck will not release to raise the deck lid so the the top can fold. I press the yellow button and in the past I could hear a click but now I hear nothing. Is there a fuse that controls this?

Yes is it in park with the ebrake on?

There are emergency cables on each side of the latches, small cables you can pull to manually unlock the latches, there on each side of the lid, it might be hidden under carpet, but they are there, it's your back-up.

There's also the switches on the doors that are supposed to release the toneau cover from what I understand. Never have worked on mine so I cannot speak from experience on that one.
