Does it "pop/bog/not accelerate" when you rev it in neutral??

You need to run the test under the conditions that cause the symptom. Otherwise, you're wasting your time. The test you ran, wasn't a test.

Ummm, i did! Sitting in my driveway, it'll bog and almost stall when giving it gas. Thanks for the insight though, really.

O.K....you didn't say that, however.

Let's be clear here: So while you were testing pressure, and you "press the accelerator (while in park, in my driveway)", the engine was bogging at the same time? In other words, the engine was bogging while you were reading 38 PSI?

Also, the you say that "the pressure stayed pretty even" That is not right. As you throttle it, the pressure should increase, with throttle opening, and decrease as you close the throttle. It doesn't sound like that was happening.

Been busy but I finally got around to checking the fuel injectors. On all of them I get a reading of 15-17 ohms except the forward 2 on the passenger side, on those two I got 9 and 4 ohms. Also, while re-checking the fuel pressure I got 37 psi at idle and it rose to almost 45 psi while applying throttle (parked in my driveway).

Lucky you. Now you know that the coils are bad and the rest of the injector doesn't matter.

Doesn't tell me much. You need to unplug the hose to simulate WOT to see what it does for future tests

Need to replace (at least) those two injectors. I just went through the same thing on my '89 'Vette Kart.

IDK about 2. I always wondered if 2 are dead, how far behind are the others?

All depends on how much $$ you have...compared to how much time you have.

I just put 8 junk yard injectors in my '89....I don't regret doing that. But for ME, the labor is fun/easy.

Psssst! He diagnosed two bad injectors. Probably best to start there first rather than WAG'ing.

For me it is a couple of issues. I prefer it to be as perfectly aligned as possible and while I'd fix the car, I'd rather be driving than fixing.

Well, got the fuel injectors from FIC, great service, great turnaround, got them installed this past weekend and the car runs great! Looking forward to some seat time now.
